The Christmas Tree

12/17/2015

It is that time of year.  Decorating, buying presents, putting up 'the Christmas tree'.   Do you know where the Christmas tree originated from?  Sometimes you just have to ask questions.  Well, I looked it up.  As a matter of fact, for years I have been looking it up.  And, every year I get the same answer.  Here goes.

The christmas tree has nothing to do with Jesus, or the Church.  From the research I found that the tree is actually part of a bad situation.  The tree is symbolic of the rebirth of Nimrod.  Nimrod married Semiramis, his mother.  After his death, an evergreen tree sprung up over night symbolizing new life for the dead Nimrod.  Every year to celebrate his death/new life his wife would bring gifts to the tree.   The time of year, December.

I searched the scriptures.  Christmas is not mentioned once in the Bible.  But there is reference to the tree in Jeremiah 10:3 it says, "For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.  they deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not".  God calls the tree that is decked with gold a vain custom.

If you search the scriptures, you will not find christmas.  If you search the internet, you will find the true origin of christmas, the christmas tree, gifts, yuletide, mistletoe, gift giving and the like.  If you celebrate christmas, it is not of the Lord.  Do not put Him in that which is not Him.  The believer must not take on the ways of the world.

Even the time of the year to which christmas is attached, December 25th is not of the Lord.  The Bible does not give a date on which the Lord came forth.  Furthermore, since Jesus is God, he was not born.  He was manifested.  He has always  been.  He has always existed.  If you research it, you will find that the feast of Saturnalia took place during the time frame from December 17th to December 25th.  During this time, the people would party and live recklessly.  The Roman court would be closed.  There was no government during this time.  At the end of the feast, December 25th and innocent person was chosen to represent to evil of the people.  The time of year that is being said represents Christ actually represents sin and Nimrod.

Many will not agree.  That is ok.  If you do the research, you will find that christmas is not of God.  Google it for yourself.
