The Bible is Right

I read a couple of articles today that made my skin crawl.  The article was written by someone that says Pentecostals and Holiness people are in a cult. The article stated there are too many rules that do not have anything to do with being happy or God.

Wrong

As I read the article, the Lord began showing me another angle the enemy is going to take use to pull people from the holiness church and keep the unbeliever from wanting to know about holiness.  When those that were once among the sheep fold leave and talk against the standards of holiness, this brings great reproach to the church.

The holiness church is not a cult.  I have found in my years ministry, that what  usually happens is a soul does not come into the the fullness of Jesus Christ.  That soul does not surrender completely to the Lord.  There is a degree of reservation still about coming all the way out of the world.  So, a soul in this situation tries to comply and fit in with the Saints by 'following rules'.  What an unbeliever calls rule, a Saint calls instruction in righteousness.

To keep this commentary short, let me say this.  To the Saints, do not try and force or make someone holy.  If they are not coming out of worldliness on their own, they have not come into full fellowship with Jesus Christ.  Let them alone.  Do not make anyone dress or act contrary to what is in the heart.  The Church can not make anyone be holy.

Instead, continue to preach and teach what the Bible says and pray the person will allow the Lord to touch his or her heart.  For only God can do that. The Saint must not look at numbers or how many people are in a congregation. the Saint must concentrate on being a witness and continuing in the faith, compelling and telling men/women to repent.

The Bible tells us in the last day there will be a great fall away.  Many that you may know right now that are living holy may be in that number.  The question to consider is, 'will you endure to the end'?  Will you hold on until Jesus comes back for his bride?  Will you continue to be a witness in this last and evil day?  Will you continue to hold on when all forsake you?

In my heart, I believe a lot of what is being called of God is going to come down.  It will have to so souls can repent for real and be saved.  There is a laxness in holiness like never before.  And it is going to get worse.

Saints of God, prepare yourselves and arm yourselves with the word of God.  Keep the Holy Ghost inside of you to lead you through this barren land.  And when the multitude falls away in your area, do not be alarmed or become dismayed.  Just hold onto what you were taught in the beginning.

To those that have not been born again of the water and the Spirit, seek the Lord.  Be sincere.  Your soul is at stake.  Going to Heaven is not automatic when a person dies.  If that person does not die in the Lord, that soul will be lost.  Seek the Lord.

Holiness is right.
