Talk, talk, talk, talk. A whole lot of talking. Even the unsaved are talking about Jesus and being saved. Even the unsaved are talking about the love of God. Even the unsaved are trying to tell the Church what it should be doing.
Thank the Lord for the provisions made in scripture concerning the Holy Ghost. All this talking is further demonstration that there are a lot of souls that have not been filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit give utterance. If more souls had the Holy Ghost, there would be no need to do all that talking. There would be more praying and demonstration of the love of God. For the Bible says you shall power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. When the Holy Ghost fills a soul, the flesh does not rule. When the Holy Ghost fills a soul, that person desires to obey and fulfill the scriptures. When the Holy Ghost fills a soul, there are no more excuses made for sin or wrong doing. Humbleness comes, fear of God comes, denying self become a priority. The love of God extends more than just giving someone a hug or a smile. The love of God extends more than just paying someones bills or giving someone some money. The love of God demonstrates obedience to the Word of God. The love of God demonstrates restraint when you suffer ill will. The love of God will have a soul seeking the Lord for direction and answers and not the internet or some group. When the Lord said let the wheat and the tare grow together, He knew what he was doing. He knew that the day would come when those that do not have the Holy Ghost would manifest such. He knew that the day would come when those without the Holy Ghost would be the ones trying to run the Church and operate 'in the Spirit'. He knew that the day would come when those without the Holy Ghost would be the ones doing more talking and people drawing to false ways and teachings. Thus the Lord said, to let the wheat and the tare grow together. He said He would separate. And, He is doing just that. The Word of God does not need to be argued or fought. The Word of God stands on its own. The Word of God just needs to held onto and preached like it is written. It will stand on its own. It takes Holy boldness and love for Jesus Christ to preach and teach His word the way it is written. Everyone professing Holiness is not Holy. Holiness requires initial actions. It requires repentance from sin. It requires baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of those sins. It requires being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. One can be baptized in Jesus Name and still not be saved. If repentance has not taken place, there is no salvation. Having good thoughts does to mean one is saved. Marvel not, you must be born again. Have you received the Holy Ghost since you first believed?

In the book of Luke chapter one verse 2 the writer, Luke, makes a profound statement. He was talking with Theophilus, a noble man. In fact Luke referred to him as 'most excellent Theophilus. This would indicate that Theophilus was a man of stature and possible authority. He was most likely a man that showed interest in Christianity.
Luke stated in verse one that many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us. In other words, some that have not been taught the faith nor walked with the Lord have or are trying to set forth things that they did not know about. In verse two, Luke says, they even delivered this 'teaching' to those that were eye witnesses to the works of the Lord. In other words, Luke is saying, those that were not eye witnesses are teaching or writing about something they know nothing about. The unlearned trying to teach the learned. Luke spoke to Thephilus to let him know, there are some teaching something they know nothing about. Luke goes on to say, "it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order; most excellent Theophilus". Luke 1:3 When I read this, my soul rejoiced!! For the same thing goes on today. Those that do not know, have not experienced nor continue to walk in the truth of the Gospel try and teach and preach what they do not know!! I have to agree with Luke about 'perfect understanding'. Living a Holy like is living a life based on perfect understanding. Coming out of sin, It is how one walks, talks and looks. Perfect understanding lets a person know these things. The anointing of God, being Holy Ghost filled, being used of the Lord require sanctification. Sanctification involves being clean from the inside out. Some say it does not matter what you wear. Not so. Perfect understanding lets you know in order for the Holy Ghost to live in a soul, the body has to be clean. NO makeup for Holy Women. No short dresses/skirts for Holy Women. No braided hair for Holy Women. Sleeves to dresses and shirts are below the elbow. No shorts. No pants. Men wear appropriate shirts, no strange hair cuts, no long hair on men. Holy women do not cut their hair or dye it. No false finger nails. No colored finger nails. Perfect understanding teaches this. Perfect understanding teaches Church attendance is importance. Bible Study, Mid week service, Sunday service, prayer service, Sunday School. Attending all these is a must for those with perfect understanding. Perfect understanding of Holiness teaches separation from the world and its ways. Perfect understanding of Holiness teaches that self denial is a must to be usable in the Masters service. Perfect understanding teaches true Holiness. When the standard of holiness is taught, many today immediately cry 'this is judgment'. When the standard of holiness is taught many cry 'that's old school and not necessary today'. Thank the Lord for perfect understanding!!! Luke 1:1-4 In verse 4 Luke made sure he let Theophilus know "that thou mightiest know the certainty of those things, wherein thous hast been instructed". Thank the Lord for perfect understanding. |
