There is a scripture that says, "For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow." Ecclesiastes 1:18
As times passes, I am learning more and more just what that means. We live in an age where knowledge is just a click away. The computer and internet have made it so easy and quick to gather information. And, some take this information and try to use it as knowledge. But there is a difference. Understanding is part of having knowledge. Knowing facts does not mean one has knowledge. Some confuse this and end up following the wrong thing. The Lord has said in His word that his thoughts are not our thought and his ways are not our ways. One can think to know and not know. Knowledge comes from learning and experiencing something. Jesus said learn of me. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matthew 11:29 So, instead of learning facts about the world, take some time to learn about Jesus. He is still the one that is able to keep you from falling. He is still the one that can heal a broken heart. He is still the one that can keep your mind. He is still the one that can make a way when there seems to be no way. He is still the only one that can save your soul. It is still Jesus. Always has been. Always will be. Pastor M Webb
