The Bible teaches that fear has torment. As a matter of fact, the scripture says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." I John 4:18. The bible also says, "The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites". Isaiah 33:14 The definition that seems to explain fear is: 'anticipation of the possibility that something unpleasant will occur:"
God commands us in His word to fear not. Have faith in God. Fear and faith can not dwell together. You can not have fear and have faith. The Bible says to take no thought saying, 'what shall we eat? or, what shall we drink? or, where withal shall we be clothed?' God commanded man to do this because God already know what you have need of. Instead of taking thought about tomorrow, God commanded us to "seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:31-33 Some fear what tomorrow is going to bring. Some fear the 'what if's they assume about situations. Stop it. God did not give His people the spirit of fear. But rather, "trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.: Psalms 3:5,6 In the day and hour in which we live, it is truly time to seek the Lord until you find Him. It is time to be saved like the Bible says. It is time to be Holy like the Bible says. For the Lord says in His word, "Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you." Isaiah 35:4 Seek the Lord, now. Salvation is still in the Name of Jesus Christ.
